With the advancement of AI, is domaining and blogging still a thing in 2025? Today, we will take a look into how AI affects domaining and blogging.

The opinion given in this article is of the author’s and does not necessarily represent that of NativeBlogger.com.

Domaining and The Introduction of AI

Domaining has always been there since the beginning of Internet. With the latest trend in application of AI in almost every aspect of life, we will see how domaining has changed in recent times.

Domaining involves the registration or buying and selling of domains in various extensions. Back in the days, domainers would have to simply search for a domain name that they could think of themselves.

Domain Specific use of AI

If the name is available, it can be registered through the registrars. The registration process has not changed much. However, the generation of ideas for a name does.

Perhaps one of the most useful aspect of AI is in utilising it’s ability to generate ideas for a name through a related term or a prompt. Domainers need not use their own imagination alone to come up with a possibly available name. AI does the work for them.

Then the available names can be registered for a minimum of 1 year and in multiples thereof. Rest of the process is not much affected by AI.

Blogging in the Age of AI

Coming to blogging, AI has brought about tremendous change as compared to domaining. Blogging is a process of creating and updating blogs which are pretty much a website on their own.

It involves registering a domain and setting up a hosting account. Essentially, it involves setting up a complete website and adding content to it.

Blogging in the age of AI in 2025

While these processes involves manual human effort to get your blog up and running, AI has pretty much changed the whole scenario.

Blogging and the use of AI in content generation

Today, you can use AI to design a theme for your blog, write article contents for you based on your prompt through generative text.

In certain advanced cases, even Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) can be handled by AI. Since the beginning, AI has been extensively trained and today, they can be an agent for auto blogging and management.

Is Human Blogging Dead?

Not really. Although recent developments are in the field of vlogging and reel making and sharing, blogging is still very much a thing.

In fact the best contents are produced by real human effort. It’s only logical to say that a real human would best provide what another real human may read and benefit from.

The rise of YouTubers and Instagram or TikTok content creators does not mean Blogging is dead. In fact, blogging is still the best way to get your ideas across, in a detailed and engaging manner.

Blogging will continue to be an important activity of the digital world in days to come, even with the advancement in AI. So bloggers can find relief in that AI is only here to add value to you.

Conclusion

AI is here to help everyone – including domainers and bloggers alike. It’s upto us to make the best use of them for our benefit.

Completely outsourcing domaining and blogging to AI will definitely take time and may not produce the best result.

For content that is meant for human to read, it will still need a good refinement even though the content may be generated by AI.

With that, I hope that you learn something about domaining, blogging and the role of AI in these profession.
